The Foundation

Our Mission

Created in 2007, the Sibylla Hesse Foundation is a private foundation whose mission is to contribute to the fight against suffering and to the affirmation and vitality of the person.

The Sibylla Hesse Foundation implements and supports specific projects and organizations that œvrent in the following areas:

• condition of youth
• condition of the elderly
• fight against disease
• fight against poverty
• dissemination of culture

Our Principles

The Sibylla Hesse Foundation focuses on applications that meet specific principles. The foundation :

• dedicated primarily help people rather than administration of a program;
• attaches importance to creativity, initiative, commitment, seriousness, rigor and relevance of the application;
• favors interventions based on knowledge, whether scientific or “pragmatic” rather than solely on good intentions or originality.

The Foundation supports the statement of values and ethical principles of “Philantropic Foundations Canada” (FPC).
